What is are those and whats the difference if there is in them thanx guys sorry for the stupid question.

 

Try searching next time because I haven't even been here long, but I've seen this asked many times. but AP1 is 00-03 and AP2 is 04+

 

Amongst the years AP1 are 00-03 & AP2 are 04+ the headlights are different, tail lights are different, different front and back bumpers, rims, speakers, interior, rev limiter are 9K rmp/ 8K rpm, thats just stuff i can think of off the top of my head.

 

rev limiter???? i think its a little more than that the 2.2 sits in the ap2's rather than the 2.0 in the ap1. you definitley have to search this. i can almost garuntee not many people are going to reply to this considering this has been asked/answered soooooo many times.

 

ap1:
-00-03
-9k redline
-2.0 liter engine

ap2:
-04-current
-8k redline
-2.2 liter engine
-improved suspension (anybody wants to argue, go watch battle at 10k rpm)
-slight hp/tq improvement
-new headlight, tailight, front and rear bumper.
-06 has dbw and traction control
-better stereo

both are great car. once you get one and you drive it off the lot, nothing will matter.

ap1 has 16x6.5 wheels front 16x7.5 wheels rear
ap2 has 17x7 wheels front 17x8.5 wheels rear
taillights on ap2 are LED's

ap2 has different radio door and 2 cup holders

00-01 have plastic rear window

02-07 have glass rear window w/defroster

07's are out. seen one last week at the dealer where I got mine $36k

buy a used ap1. prices should be good for a used one under 20k

i prefer ap1 because its the original same horsepower
only 2 liters and a 9k redline

but there are true ap2 fanatics on here too, so look at both, drive both, then decide
