Default AP1 from Okinawa!

Evening gentlemen.

My name is Will, 25 years old, originally from Texas, and stationed in Okinawa, Japan.

Just purchased my first Honda ever last week, and probably the only one I'd want to own. Got a '01 Silverstone AP1 with an AP2 front end, and 46,XXX kilometers, which is equal to around 26K miles. Yes! So far my only mods are Blitz ZZ-R coilover, Mugen exhaust (which I think is way too tame), and TE37's. Definitely more on the way, as well as some exhaust shopping.

Loving the site so far, a wealth of information and a quick moving classifieds section.

Here's a quick pictoral resume of some of my past cars. Thanks!

'99 FD, the car I sold for the S2K. I was very proud of this thing, took it from a bone stock automatic to what you see in the pictures. In the end, the running costs got annoying, and I wanted something that meant less wrenchy, more drivey.

In this pic you can see our other car, the wife-mobile, R34 GT-T.

This is the first car I bought when I arrived on island. An Evo III. Not a bad little car, except when I had to change the damn clutch...

And back in Texas, I have a '72 S30.

I also owned this IS300 for a little while. Great daily.

"Testing" it out the 2nd day I had it.

Looked like this when I sold it.

You can say I've tried a bunch of different stuff

Fellow Okinawa resident here, beautiful S and RX7, you have great taste in cars! welcome to the forum.

What branch are you in?

If you decide to sell that exhaust you already got someone interested

I first fell in car love with the little Honda when I was on Okinawa.. back in like 1970.. it was an S600 a neighbor had... over my years there as a teenager.. I had several friends with S 600's an S 800's... I got my license in the states right before dad got stationed on Okinawa.. so I did all my first 3 years driving there.. never did get a Honda back then.. then one day a few years back.. I met my S2000.. finally...

you had some nice cars..

and have a nice S 2000...

have fun on the Rock...

dunno if its the filtering on the photo, or what...but that silverstone looks way darker.....sure it's not something else i like it though BTW...this is probably one of the best car forums around....very little flaming, and mostly mature people that respect one another and share great info..

Air Force, working out of Kadena, but I live up near Camp Courtney. I'm assuming you have a S out here also? If so which exhaust do you have?

I thought the same thing after seeing and comparing it other pictures of Silverstone's. The color code on the plate in the engine says NH630M, so I was a little suspicious of the car being reprayed at one point or another, but the trunk is also the same color. We'll see as I've ordered a replacement door and and bumper that was said to be Silverstone.
