Ap2 owner in So Cal
I recently purchased a stock berlina black ap2 thanksgiving week. The car has been an absolute joy thus far and I have some moderate plans as well.
A little about myself & my history with cars. My first car was a 1995 Integra GSR, up until it was stolen and stripped in 2004. In 2007 I purchased a 1998 TT Toyota Supra (my profile pic), which is currently a project of mine & now I have an ap2.
My plans for the ap2 are pretty simple in my eyes. Being new to this community, I am not sure where it would fall. The following day of purchasing the car, I purchased an AEM v2 intake from the performance shop that sponsors me. My plans at that point were to do the basics and enjoy the car. After a few discussions with my friends from the Supra community, that thought was excused. My current plan is to do a SC build with a fuel system and an AEM v2 tune. It will be daily driven, so the power won't be anything excessive. I'm thinking no more than 400 hp is a good figure.
Aside from all of that, I am excited to be part of this community and see some similarities from the Supra one. I feel it is a good fit, much like the car. Anyways, on to some pictures of it.... and a better view of the Supra.
What you'll see here is the overhaul of the car. When I picked it up, it wasn't to my standards. No person should ever sell a car looking so dirty. So I gutted the interior (much more than in the pix). The car also had a 3M clear bra on it. The bra took away from the quality of the paint, so it had to go. Upon removal, I found an ugly blemish. But nothing to worry about. I had already planned to do a full detail of the car. 7 hours later, the paint was flawless, as well as the interior. After that it was time to install my CAI. A beer or two is always good to have handy while wrenching.
Also, the car came with two of these Honda emblems on the sides. They look cool, but I'm not a fan of badges, so they'll be removed. And finally, I added my sponsors sticker appropriately. Nothing too loud. Just tasteful.

And lastly, the Supra. In the picture, she was single turbo with a 3" exhaust and AEM v2 on a built transmission.

I hope you all enjoy and look forward to becoming more acquainted with this community.
