Default On to bigger and better things.

So about a month ago I was driving clean blue Si. CLEAN. I had every aspect of the car modified. It was my daily driver until someone slams the **** into me when i'm at a stoplight at around 10 pm. What's worse is he told the police officer and his insurance company that I was racing some other car, cut him off, and slammed on my breaks. Like I said I was at a complete stop at a light.

It took the other insurance company a month and a half from the date of the accident to get back with me with a "We deny your claim, our client says you were racing and cut him off." Needless to say. LAWYER. I've been racking up the medical bills and cannot wait to sue his sorry ass for fabricating this story when my treatment's done. Well anyway. I bought the civic back to scrap. Made my money and joined you guys.

I got a couple thousand from my insurance company and since every piece on the Si is wanted, i made about 2g's on the engine and tranny. 3 g's on various other parts.

I found an ad on craigslist for a 2000 s2000 One owner. 77,000 miles. listed at $12,000. I talked him down to 9 because of a small tear in the soft top and one tail light had been cracked. Gettin new OEM tail lights tomorrow installed by honda due to the recall. free of charge sweeet.

That Civic was sweet. That model was my fav, along with that color... amazing. I wish my civic was like that, but it's just a 4 door LX auto . Nice upgrade on the S2k though man. You'll love it.

Enjoy the S. You can't put an AP2 lip on an AP1 bumper though.

Glad to hear (read) that you're okay enough to be posting about all this and you came out of the deal with an actual sportscar S2000!

Congrats!

i had a sort of similar accident. i was parallel parked talking to my lady friend at the time, a whole pack of sport bikes rolls by and the last one decides to act like hot sheet and do a wheelie on this side street and loses control and crashes into my back bumper. when insurance company time comes he says i pulled out in front of him. so, trying to be civilized and just exhanging insurance information lets jackholes try to wiggle out of their responsibilities, since then (that was a long time ago) it's call the police and get an official police report.

Yeah tell me about it. What's worse is.. the cop gave him a failure maintain proper distance/speed ticket and him and his insurance company still denied it. My insurance have recorded statements from me, the driver, and the witness proving I was just chillen at a light. People will do anything to squirm outta paying higher premiums. If it's your fault face up to that shit.
