A bit quicker than my miata
Greetings everyone,
I have recently become a an owner of a 2000 s2000. She is Silverstone with the snazzy looking Black and red interior. the car was purchased with only 63k miles on the clock and is in fantastic condition with a glass soft top instead of the Plastic top Ive herd mixed complaints about. Ive owned a 99 10ae miata for the past year and a half so I thought this was the most logical step up from there. Lets say the experience has been ear grinning to say the least.
This car is absolutely phenomenal in all aspects over my miata except for one, the fun factor. Its mostly to the fact I feel like the car is barely putting any effort to get me around town where as the miata was like racing just to keep with traffic lol. All in all this is an amazing car and I cant wait to see how it does in the local Autocross events and at harris hill / TWS here in Texas.
Just from lurking here the past week Ive come to learn that honda got it right the first time. there is hardly anywhere to get more power easily lol. Though ill be gunning for some lighter wider tires and perhaps a Tein adjustable suspension first. Though perhaps its my driving style or my familiarity with drift I personally love the case of over steer this car provides.
I look forward to my time in this community.

Probably depends on how fast you have to drive on local streets. I still only go to about 5K before shifting, but other people still pass me, but then again local traffic can be 50MPH+. So yeah, I'm not really pushing it, but the revs are cool.
