The soft top was seldom used. I plan on removing it completely. How much can I get for the top, frame, motor, etc.?

I plan to daily it for a few months, then track it, then gradually mod it.

I've done about 25 track days in a Miata over the last 12 months. I run with the advanced group on short tracks and high intermediate on long ones.

In the picture below you will see I have figured out how to pass an S2K.

Never taking the top off is like, like never doing your girl doggy! I used that comparison because of your screen name but really I have the same car and I love having both. It is nice having the top down and not getting caught in a afternoon thunder storm. Think about it before you boot it.

Have your flame suit handy for posting you passed an S with a Miata on your very first post!!! This is S2KI not Miata.com.

This is just me but it is nice to post at least your state in your profile. No one is going to hunt you down and it good to know you are talking semi local to someone or 3,000 miles away, just saying.

I live in Los Angeles so I get 300+ days of Sun a year. There are no thunderstorms that creep up. We get 5-days notice of precipitation and even then it's mainly a long drizzle or soft rain. I haven't heard thunder or seen lightning in two years LOL.

Also, I tried editing my profile but I am not allowed to view profiles. I hope this isn't because I was PM'ing members and aking them what they were wearing...

Okay LA, well you might as well sell the hard top too, you can get $3K for it and put in a roll bar! Track city here you come.

Up here in VA if freaking rains for a week with a day of partly cloud followed by another week of rain. However water does cost less than gasoline.

Classy username, but seeing you are from LA, I totally understand.

I typed in about four names and they were taken. I typed in 'f@#k' and it said available.

Sorry to upset your delicate sensibilities.

The reason I bought the car is for the hard top, though. Finding one from a warm climate is not easy.

I hate the additional maintenance of the canvas and it wears out or leaks, sometimes both. I've owned a few verts.

If I want the top off I will just store it in the garage.
