Thanks everyone for the comments about Jeff at Hard Top Guy.
I e-mailed him from his site but have not heard from him.
Maybe he's taking the weekend off.
Did get some prices from a few local dealers and made a deal for a '06 Laguna Blue $31,750.00 (includes destination) and am picking it up Wednesday.
Only thing now is to deal with the fact that this is the most impractical car purchase I have ever made. I mean it's a 2 seater with no trunk.
No side airbags and will scrap every curb it see's.
But, you know what - it's what I want and I figure I better live life while alive.

Yeah, living life while dead is a bad idea. Good luck with your purchase. Jeff is super-dooper.

I talked to him and he sure seemed to be a nice guy and very professional too. I intend to purchase a few parts from him but so far he has not replied to my e-mail either... Of course this being his in-site e-mail form I don' t know if he ever got it. Do you have a different direct e-mail adress for contacting him?

Vag, I would contact Jeff through his web site (hardtopguy.com, I think)... I'm not sure that email will work.

You can also use "PM" (private messaging) on s2ki.com (he is registered as hardtopguy), and I think he will get that. To use PM, go to your MyS2k page (look at the top of the current page), and then do "Compose a message" on the left-hand side of MyS2k.

By the way, this is Thanksgiving week in the United States, so it's possible you're just trying to contact at an inopportune time.

Best wishes.

I'm confused now as some folks are saying Jeff does not work there anymore and yet I've seen him post since my inquiry. I did try him thru the HardTopGuy website and no answer.
Doesn't really matter I bought my car already so for now contacting or getting connected is academic but I will no doubt be in the market for something from them in the future so I'll just try it again when the need arises.
This is a great car!!!

I know you'll love the car.

As of a couple of months ago, Jeff left Ganley Honda to go on his own. I don't know if/where he landed. He wasn't sure if he was going to go back to a Honda dealer or stay on his own. He promised he'd do everything he could to keep the hardtopguy.com business going uninterrupted.

Did you try PM'ing him here (on s2ki)?

Thanks Chaz I did not try to PM - my bad. I was so busy wheeling and dealing over the net with dealers to get the best price I sort of gave-up on him - perhaps to soon.
I will say this is the third car in two years I have done ALL the negotiating via e-mails before walking into a dealership.
I jsus hate the games in dealerships and so it's great to just walk in ask for the man and only need to sign the paperwork.
I'll never buy any other way again I suspect.

I bought my S2000 by conversing via email with the several internet sales managers. It's conceivable that you could get a better deal face-to-face, but I cannot stand the "oh, let me go talk to my manager" game. I prefer the low key approach.
