I am planning to pull the trigger on a 2004 S2000 AP2. It has abt 78k miles on it.
I have gone through the buyers guide and was wondering where i can get the compression test done. I am in Houston TX. Also the top has a tear in it, the guy says it doesnt' leak. Is it something I shoudl be worried about. Any other pointers will also be really helpful.

well to help you out, i got my 2007 with 44k miles for $15,9 from a dealership

also, pull out the spare tire tools and the styrofoam insert and check for water and then look for rust

 

A tear and no leak, that seem to be questionable. That can be 800 -$1000 in repair if you change the ST.

 

15,9 is awesome... the guy is selling it for 13k and 1k will be for repairing the top... are there any cheaper ways of fixing the top???

 

Do it yourself. I saw a few on eBay for like 500-700

 

And how big an where is the tear? Get pics? Might be able to patxh

dude s2000's are for fags only. Don't buy one. Get a real car instead. like a camaro or smart or something.

 

why does the front bumper look a different color? is it just me or can someone else chime in?
