I recently purchased my second S2K and now would like to join a local club to see about track days and road trips. I have a 2006 ap2 in laguna pearl and a 2008 ap2cr in rio yellow. would like to know about taking them and my sons to a track to play with them, modifications to the CR notably an HKS supercharger and would that diminish the value of the car as a collector item. They apparently made only 112 of this model. Stereo upgrades, best combinatiion of unit, amp and speakers so you can enjoy rich clear sound with the top down at 100 mph. I own one of the top rated disc golf courses in the country, up in Huntsville Texas. Shawshank is open to the public, our next event is May 3rd, for those of you who would like to come up and visit and show off your S2's and enjow a great meal, and some golf, please let us know. you can reach the golf course at 281-682-9446 for reservations. I have taken my S2 to the pigs trail out side Fayetteville Ark, twice, up to wisconsin and back once, up to and around the upper up of michigan and door county wisconsin and back, the Natches trace trail and all over central Texas including some of my favorite runs through the hill country and out on the twisted sisters. My favorite road trip is the
10 hour drive out to big bend and the run from La Jitas to Presidio... the river canyon road has got to be the most scenic and best run in Texas, I had the pleasure of showing up during the Super Snake event a few years back and got stuck in a group of GT 150's, kept up with them through all the turns but they always walked away from me in the straights... when we got to the gas station at Presidio, one of the GT drivers walked over and asked me what I was driving, I just smiled and said " a four cylinder..." Hope to hear from Y'all soon, and it would be nice to see some S2's at the tournament on May 3rd!

 

Welcome TX SIDEWINDWER, there are three Texas forums on S2KI. I don't know which one would be most appropriate but I'm guessing the Central Texas forum. Also, come by the CR forum and introduce yourself. We can answer your CR related questions, get your CR listed on the CR Roll Call and offer technical advice should you need it.

Welcome! I don't play disc golf but have a few buddy's that do. I'm sure they will be there. Since your in Huntsville you should stop by in the Houston section and introduce your self as well.
