Cool Can't get the grin off my face...

S2000 has always been my dream car for many years... the dream finally came true when I took delivery of my spanking new 2006 Black S2000 yesterday!

I also have a Suzuki GSXR 1000 and I think the S2000 is the only car that'll come close to what it feels like to drive a bike...

I also thought I'd mention that this is one of the best forums I've ever been on (and I've been on quite a few). Everyone here is helpful and the site is always full of great information!

I'll post pics soon....

Cheers!

Vivek, I bought an S2000 as a motorcycle serogate and have no regrets.

Wait until you get to go on one of the S2kI mountain runs like SESM or Wake the Dragon. I've never met a nicer group than the people I've met through S2kI.

Welcome to the party!

I've had the car for 3 weeks and I still get giddy everytime I get in. Nothing beats a high revving motor and I don't care what anybody says about torque. They don't know what they're missing, I feel like Scuhmi or Alonso everytime I wind it past 6k. I was actually surprised how much torque it has compared to my 6 cylinder IS.

Also, anybody knows where you can get the plugs for the front plates. The dealer threw them away and can't find them and I can't stand those four holes.

You can order replacement plugs at your Honda dealers parts department.

Vivek, welcome. Congrats on your purchase! Black is great, but make sure you check out the wash&wax forum for good advice on exterior care (black is a bit of a handful).

TRD, did you look in your "secret compartment" (the compartment over the main storage bin) for the plugs? That's where mine were when I took delivery.

Oh, well that's damn good that you have those.

No idea. Can't be more than $10?? Order them from one of the site) sponsors instead (HandA, GoFast..).

Best wishes.

If the dealer threw away the plugs, let the dealer order new ones . . but they are cheap.

But do check the secret compartment
