This car just feels right
Bought an S2000 over a week ago.
Should've bought this car years ago instead of my evo.
The evo was great, but this car... there's something about it lol.
It's an 07 LBP with 38500 miles.
Has BC N+ coilovers, T1R dual exhaust, and test pipe (stupid loud exhaust for my taste, but I'm keeping it as it has that certain really low tone I like on 4 bangers hahaha). Previous owner only drove it for around 1500 miles in the past year. First thing first is to raise the car and clean up the car. It was just too low, I prefer the 1-2 finger gap low so it doesn't mess with suspension geometry (also scared of driveshaft vibration that comes with lowering from what I've researched on the forums) too much and drivability around the streets.
Car is going to get reconditioning this weekend:
-clean headlight lens
-clean sideview mirrors
-claybar and wax
-clean rims
-recondition the vinyl and leather a little
-a really good vacuum
-replace cabin air filter
WIll post pics tomorrow.
Will have after pics, too!
Hope it turns out really well.

Thanks for the warm welcome dude.
I was looking for a gpw cr, but to no avail. Still though, even a regular blue s2000 is special as I haven't seen one around here yet.

As promised...
Got an alignment appointment tomorrow with Firestone. Finally found a place with a drive on alignment rack instead of going up a ramp, which my car can't because it's lowered and a lip.
Will be doing factory caster, toe, and then for camber F -1.0/R -2.0 (euro camber
) Also requested no air tools and to use proper torque, I doubt they'll properly torque it down though. Going to watch them like a hawk, when it comes to doing things properly, I go slow and methodical.
I also have the 2000-2009 Service Manual. I browsed through the whole book, noticed that it calls for replacing the 12x1.25mm self-locking nuts after each alignment. Well, I went to the Honda dealer a mile from home, $3.82/nut!
Yes, I forked over the $24 as I needed 6 of them. 2 up front for camber bolts and 4 in the rear for camber and toe.
That ride height is perfect for me, just needs some spacers as I won't be buying new rims anytime soon. Thinking 15mm as that won't require too much fender rolling. Trying to avoid huge camber just so I can be flush, hehe. I think anything more than 15mm for me is too aggressive.

Headlights were too hazy for my liking. So I bought some PlastX and finally got around to cleaning them! Better, but not perfect since it has tiny chips road debris. Oh well, can't really avoid that unless I don't drive the car. Yeah, right!

Tried the Meguiar's Plastx stuff on the rim. Then I thought, hmm, I wonder if this is bad for the rim. Not sure if it has a coat or something.
Well it worked, I think it just needs a little elbow grease to take off the caked on brake dust. Also found out there's minimal pitting from the brake dust's corrosive properties on the rim. The rims were way worse before I used Sonax on it a few days ago. I'm going to take a rim off the car and clean it in the apartment some more in the upcoming days. Give it the TLC it needs.

Hope you enjoy the pics!
