Carfax question
Hi Guys,
Looking at possibly becoming the owner of a used S2000 as a secondary fun car (currently drive a 2005 Mazda3 5-door). I checked out a yellow 03 at a dealer with 41000 miles on it. I had some questions about the Carfax on it though. It said that it was a "corporate lease vehicle" (or possibly a commercial lease vehicle, I'm at work right now and can't remember) up until last November down in Florida. Does this mean it was a rental, or was it simply one somebody had leased instead of purchased? It looks like it was attempted to be sold as a Honda CPO, but a few months later was sold at auction to the current dealer. Any red flags there? If anyone needs any additional info I can provide when I get home and have the carfax in hand.
Looking the car over, the top looks good, but the paint isn't wonderful. They have some film over the front that has attracted a lot of dirt at the edges, and the film itself is somewhat beat up on the front.
Had a BLAST driving it though :-) I can see why you all love this car. How do you guys not lose your licenses with tickets!?!?
