Default Which color to pick

So after years of after 3.5 years of owning a base RSX. It's time to move up. It will be a slow process of taking all the aftermarket parts off and selling the car, but my goal is to move into a s2k by the end of the year.

I think I've settled on a my 04-05. I'd like to pick up a GPW, but those are rare. Experience has taught me it's easier to get body parts whether it be wings, oe bumpers, or hoods when you get a more common color such as the silverstone or sebring silver. I don't think I would mind either of those colors, but a GPW with a tan interior is what I really want. It would just be more convenient for a silverstone or sebring silver since accidents and small things do happen over time.

What do you guys think?

I think you're paying for the car so get what you really want. If you want to add parts later find yourself a good paint shop. A lot of times if you buy a used bumper/lip etc off someone it will be pitted and have a few scrapes that you'll want to repaint over anyways.

I'm thinking about a AP2 white/tan but i've seen some pics of used cars and the carpet/floor mats look really nasty after it gets dirty. I imagine it's hard to get the stains/dirt out too since the tan color is so light.

I'd check out the 04/05 Silverstone with red/black interior, I don't like silverstone but on the AP2 with the two tone interior it looks really nice. And most importantly, make sure the car whatever color you get is in good shape and well maintained. I'd rather get a different color that's an overall cleaner car than buy a car the color you like that's been abused/wrecked.

What I think, M R, is to get the color that you like. If white speaks to you -- get it! Simple decision.

I usually think that's the best policy.

Best wishes on your hunt.

no doubt...get the color that you want and forget everything else. you never want to drive past an s2000 in the color you want and wish you waited.

Cosmos brought up a very good point that I hadn't thought about before. I really would like a car that is mechanically sound and clean over the prefered color. The white cars really are hard to come by and it simply would be more convenient.

Thanks for the feedback!
