Man, I wouldn't mind paying MSRP for Laguna Blue Pearl.
I've owned an Arctic Blue Pearl RSX-S, and a Deep Blue Pearl R32.
Somehow, I'm hooked on blue-colored cars.
Man, those Laguna Blue S2000s look sooooo darn sexy.
I might even paint mine after few years.

I've called numerous dealerships in Phoenix. 31k before ttl is the best I've got. 31,783 is the highest. They have been quoting me 31,583 as invoice. I really don't think I'm going to get it for less than 31k......

edit: all prices are for 07s

I got quotes from a couple of dealers at 30.8K in So Cal. These cars are not selling well. Don't worry too much about how to negotiate in person and stuff. Just hit up different dealers' internet divisions. Depending on their monthy sales, you should be able to find one or the other do under invoice.

the way i got my current s was to write to 5 dealers in my area, tell them i was a buyer this weekend and ask for their price. i got 4 replies other than sticker or above...i then wrote each of them with this best price adn asked for someone to beat it and which colors they had in stock...i got 3 dealers to respond to that, i picked the best of these. you cannot push to hard, once they know you know what you are doing, they just give you the price and you take it...i just wanted to know in real life what folks were being told and what they paid....now...and for la area...your costs are always less than northern calif due to increased competition. thanks again .

I don't think that's neccessarily true - please let me know when someone from SoCal gets their S for more than $1,000 under factory invoice like I did. I got mine for $29,841 before destination + TTL, last month up here in NorCal. There is more competition in SoCal but you forgot that there is even more demand/population plus better weather in SoCal which probably makes those prices slightly higher, at least for convertibles. Plus LA is the car capital of the world, and having lived there for a number of years, cars are very important status symbols to a lot of people and thus these people are willing to pay more for their cars.

Good question. That's just what they have been telling me. The closest I can figure is 30,838 (edmunds) + 595 destination = 31,433. Don't know why their numbers are 150 off.
