Leaving it as a sleeper when you get it back?

Anyways, good luck on power goal, hopefully nothing else happens.
I dream of the day I quit messing with my K20 projects and just boost the S2000

Ha, yeah as 'sleeper' as I can be with a big FMIC filling up my front bumper : )

I am thinking of putting a grille in there though for protection of the fmic from rocks and stuff. What do you think?

I think for the amount of protection it provides it's not worth how bad it looks... unless you fully cover the FMIC... then you start hurting its main purpose

I don't run one on my S13... no issues at the track or road so far, but it's not a daily

mine will be a daily. I just don't want to hurt performance b/c rocks or bugs continuously hit and dent the fins on the intercooler. I'd NEVER put a grill in for looks, only for performance purposes...but if you think it would hurt performance more than help, I'll leave it off.

if you really think about it, small rocks or bugs will still get through the grill and damage your i/c. leave it off

Indeed. Which is why I am doing as you have advised and leaving it open. The FL heat is bad enough for temps as it is also, I doubt that adding a grille would in any way ease the heat on the engine lol.
