I had been on the hunt for a facelift S2000 since the start of the year when this beauty went up for sale about an hour away from me.

2006, 116k, moonrock. It's been very well looked after and serviced at honda all its life. Drives like a dream and it's definitely the most 'special' car I've owned. Might still be in the honeymoon phase with the motor but I said to my other half after a few days of ownership: "I never want another car"

It's very clean and almost standard. It has a K&N, and an aftermarket stereo.

To do list:

• Get some carpets (any recommendations?)
• Test pipe
• There's a knocking coming from the rear passengers corner. I've had a look behind the carpet in the boot where the strut top and fuel pipes are but can't find the culprit. Requires more investigation.
• Windscreen is quite scratched; need to replace this down the line.
• There is one small rip about 1.5cm in the hood in the usual location. It's been repaired with what looks like epoxy and seems to be holding. Going to pick up some RTV in case it gives. Is there any preventative steps I can take to stop other rips from occuring?
• Headlights are a little hazy so I'll refurb these at some point.

Other than that just the usual new car detailing, probably get something to treat the hood.

The previous owner, Ryan, did have another (supercharged) S2000, so he might be about the forums.

Looks very nice for the mileage. That is a dream of mine to go motoring through the highlands. I love that picture.

For floor mats, I would recommend the factory Honda mats. They are expensive but worth it. The aftermarket ones are affordable but just don't seem to have the thickness and wear qualities compared to OEM. I have seen OEM mats on Amazon or eBay
Your noise COULD be a loose axle nut. These cars will typically make a ping/pop noise when starting out from a stop or turning. On my car, it sounded like I ran over a rock and it shoots out from the tire with a PING. Search here for billmans axle nut procedure if you have the same symptoms. There are videos on youtube illustrating the symptoms.

prob a drop link on the anti roll bars,no need for a oem replacement here.
don't **** with hub nuts its paranoid BS...
have ^^ them matts they are the blox .
screens get bad rash,period with the s2000, could not see through mine with sun glare,a replacement was needed ..
