I own a 2004 Dodge SRT4 and my dad owns a 2002 Honda S2000. I like driving his car more than mine lol so I was looking to purchase a nice S2000 with the money I got from graduation. I looked on my local forum and found this S2000.

I know it is a salvage title but is this a good deal? I am really close to pulling the trigger and getting this car. Let me know if you guys know anything about this cars past/who owned it before it got vandalized.

I wouldnt get it. The color is not original, the spoiler is hideous, and lights area modified.
For 9.5k you could get a 00-01 that doesn't have a rebuilt title and have just a little bit more miles. Keep looking man. For only a few grand more, you could have a very low mileage Ap1.

 

 

I actually like that color and not having the same color as everyone else. The spoiler would be the first thing to come off trust me. What do you mean the light areas are modified? Do you mean the headlights and taillights? I'm going with my dad tomorrow to take a look at it do I'll let you guys know how it looks in person.

 

Getting a close look and driving it will be the best thing you can do. I am inclined to agree with the posters above. I just paid 10 for my 03 suzuka with 86k a spotless bay and service records as a reference for you. Good luck and let us know how it ended up.

 

Yeah the headlights dont have the stock amber color in it. id the car is good I would try and talk him down a bit.
