The tape thing is smart.

When you get home and settled, get a 'clear bra' I had mine on the car for 5 years and just recently pulled it off. The paint underneath was perfect and there was no residual lines or marks. It did start to get rough looking after 4 years, but it peeled right off. But my car look f**king new still.
