Dream come true
I've been craving this car since I first heard about it (around 1999...). I'm a lifelong F1 fan (especially in the Senna years), and loved every Honda I've driven. But the time was never right and I held off. Now that it became possible, I started kinda just looking casually, thinking that I'll hold off for the "perfect" car: Suzuka, stock, not abused, preferably a 2002 or 2003.
I finally found a stock Suzuka blue AP1 (2002) this spring. I was aiming to get one in the fall but the right one came along and I jumped on it. One owner, nice lady in her 50s who said she's getting too old to get in and out of it. Mechanically it's absolutely perfect, clean engine bay, no rust anywhere, smooth transmission, never modified, raced, etc. Top needs a patch, but no big deal. A few minor scratches (not through the paint) that I'll try to buff out.
Observations after a couple of days of ownership: driving with the top up is somewhat less fun than I expected. It's noisy, a little rattly, and the visibility is not great (blind spots on the sides). However, driving with the top down is an absolute blast! I can't get enough of it! I think I'll be one of those guys who puts the top down until I get frostbite on my forehead!
I couldn't be more excited - and looking forward to learning a lot on these forums.

We all know what these look like but we want to see yours!
Dig into the maintenance sections as the former owner may not have serviced it by the book.
