DreamJDM's S2000 Build
Hello S2K Community,
I have just purchased my 2004 S2000 with 31,499 miles in Silverstone Silver. After going back and forth for 10 years on if i should buy an s2000, I finally pulled the trigger and have no regrets. I bought this car because it was always my dream to own a s2000 and i wanted to start my dream in making content for Instagram and YouTube. If you don't mind, please support my Instagram page @DreamJDM_ and subscribe to my youtube channel @DreamJDM. Thank you!

Eh, not really. Mileage isn't low enough and color isn't special enough. Anything above 10k miles is a driver's car. We've seen plenty of silly-low mileage s2000s....Boomers bought tons of them and didn't drive them.
Not my business either but that's why we're here -- to offer opinions.
I'm into my 6th year with my 2006 Silverstone and have personally found the car -- as is -- needs no "mods" or "building." Not to say a few tweaks don't help my enjoyment of the car. Good Extreme or Max Summer tires, tuning with a VTEC lowered to 3600 rpm with an intake and subtle exhaust are performance enhancements although it sounds faster than it is. Most everything else including expensive aftermarket bling wheels and suspensions is "fluff." These cars are "rare enough" to get attention if that's the goal.
Literally everyone other than an S2k enthusiast is surprised that (1) it's a Honda and (2) it's 14 years old.
Assuming we're still able to have it with Covid19 come over to Staunton for the weekend next month and see a dozen S2000s in mostly OE condition. Take the back roads, not the Interstates.

I have a carbon copy of Chuck's car and agree with him, however I have seen some tastefully modified cars that look fantastic. I do believe they look good with a mild 1-1.5 inch drop but in my area (and driveway) the car is already a major scrape hazard..lol.
32k Miles is a very low millage example, but there are stupid insane low millage examples out there! Just like shoes are meant to be worn, cars are meant to be driven and not time capsuled. Whats the point of enjoying a car, if you just sit at home looking at it? And yes, there could be a chance even my 32k mile s2000 can fetch stupid money in the future. I own a s2000 not to make a profit on it, but enjoy driving it and customizing my car to show self-expression and feed my hunger to build and tinker with things. My stock s2000 has brought me many hours of enjoyment and there is nothing wrong with keeping it stock. My philosophy on modding is upgrading components, that could of come from factory and my goal is to build a performance car first and show car second.
