From Evo to s2k
Like the tittle says. I sold my 05 Evo GSR, 2 months ago trying to pick up something more comfortable and luxurious. My choices where, G35, Audi A6 Lexus GS400. However, I have always liked the S2k's. One test drive was all it took. power wise it does not match the Evo, but the S2k really has a punch to it and is a very quick car. Not to mention the handling and above all the TOP DOWN! lol. I had sellers remorse over my evo for about a month, till I purchased this machine. I live in NOVA and had to drive 7 hrs. to upstate NY to get her. The reason why? the color conbo. GPW and Red was my all time fav color. below are some quick pix for you all. Thanks and you will be seeing more of me on this boards

Interesting you moved from a white Evo to a white S2K. I recently bought a red S2K, but kept my red Evo!

Welcome to S2ki! Haha, funny I did the same thing. I sold my 03 Evo (also white) and got a mint 05 AP2. There are certain aspects of the Evo I'll miss, particularly the power but the S is such a difference experience all together. Have fun and drive safe!

Damn Idk why ppl keep making this jump if I had the chance to own a Evo,STi ect i'd def take that over an s2k I mean I love my AP2 but still AWD and the turbo are alot more fun
The Evo is like being in an arcade game. Sure it's faster but it's not a pure driving experience. You've got a bunch of computers making the wheels do all kinds of crazy things so you go faster. The S and the mr2 turbo are an extremely raw driving experience. No traction control, no fiddly electronics, no trick AWD system, no BS. It's just you and the car. I don't find front-biased AWD terribly engaging either. Tossing the car about like it's a ragdoll is awkward and makes it feel like a toy.
