[B]LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS, CHILDREN OF ALL AGES ... I've been keeping an eye on this board for some time now - and this past Tuesday I finally pulled the trigger and got an S2000. 2 Years ago I got a new 2005 RSX Type-S which was very good to me - but alas in the end - it just wasn't enough. I've had my eyes on the S for years - since the first auto show that I saw it at before it came out, but the time and the finances just weren' there, so I bided my time, lurking in the shadows so to speak. Tuesday rolled around and i jumped - knew exactly what i wanted - an '04 or '05 with low miles, Silverstone with Blk interior. eBay - nothing, Cars.com - nothing, then AutoTrader - nothing. THEN, I opened my options - Autotrader within 50 mile radius, NO, let's try a 200 mile radius ... and there it was: 2005 Silverstone/Blk, 11k on the ODO. In Massachusetts. I live on Long Island. Whats that Mapquest? 214 miles you say? Lets do it. I call up the dealer - go over some details and throw down my deposit. roughly 4 hours later I'm in MA, handing over the keys to my beloved Type-S and being handed my new Honda keys. It's 6:15 by the time I leave the dealer, 4 hour drive ahead of me, and it's pushing 90 degrees and clear skys. I push start the engine, pull the E-brake, undo the latches, drop the top, and I'm off into the sunset. As you can tell by now - I like to write ... but not as much as I like driving my S. This car is everything I hoped it would be - and more.

Fair enough with the request for pics - and believe me - I brought a camera along when I went to buy. The dealership even took a photo of me with it for there 'Testimonials' page which I can't wait to see (yea - can't wait to see what cheesy schmuck I probably look like with my ear to ear grin). Also want to give it a good wash and take a FULL set of pics on it. What sucks is that even detailed for delivery as it was - after a nearly 4 hour drive home it was a ll smacked up with bugs and who knows what else. Weather report is clear from tomorrow through Monday so I'll see if I an get to it this weekend. I'm excited personally but realistically you people have seen a stock Silverstone S probably 9,028,359,824,735 times - so it's no big deal. Regardless - my new baby is sitting in the driveway now, sitting snug with the moon beaming down on her. Tomorrow in the AM I expect to start my weekend with a nice drive in to work with the top down and some tunes blasting (Um, yea thats another thing we all need to discuss ...).
