Finally did it....New to me AP1
Well, I've been wanting an S2000 since I first drive one back in 2003. Married life and four kids delayed the plan a bit but I finally picked one up yesterday in Atlanta. 2002 AP1 black on black with 110k, bone stock with 100% matching numbers.
It is in really good shape inside and out and runs great. Time to start the normal fluid changes, checkouts, etc. Will be doing the valves next week and have a rub spot on the top to patch up - seems like the normal stuff for an S.
Being a "Honda" guy, it is awesome to finally have an S. Started with CR's as a kid, CBR's in college, then went to work building engines for them for the past 15 years. Making a Honda engine sing always makes me smile- especially when the ol VTEC switches over on this one!
