Talking Finally got her!

Well guys I have to admit, I have been a lurker here for quite a while now but I just recently got my S. I bought a gently used 04 a couple weeks ago and Im loving it! Still getting used to the superior handling and having tons of fun doing so! When the warranty runs out I plan to go with some sort of turbo setup. I had a s/c on my last car and I just want something different this time around. I have learned about modding before your warranty goes out the hard way....you just dont do it!

Anyway, hope you guys dont mind another girl around here!

Heres a pic I took the other day...

(for some odd reason it got kinda fuzzy when I resized it! AHH!)

Thanks everyone! Yeah I plan to do a few little things for now. I think im going to go with an AEM V2 and a high flow cat for now. Ive heard that the stock exhaust flows pretty well so Im going to leave that alone and see if I like it. I want to put a Tein suspension on it and some 18" volk sf challenge in black. Thats about it though and I dont plan on any of that in the immediate future. Im still having fun with it stock!

Welcome to the family... we recently had a local member learn about modding under warranty as well. Apparently a CAI can cause your diff to fail...

Anyway, my suggestion is to think about when the right time for you would be and not necessarily limit yourself to those constraints. If you have a 7 year / 70,000 mile warranty, your life could be drastically different and you won't be able or want to go FI anymore. Life is short, be young, have fun, drink Pepsi (and go FI) ((after your learn the car)).

Modding under warranty is a problem also over here, yeah... But only 1,5 years to go and I can go SC too
