Welcome! Your new car looks great - I'm so jealous...

I'm about to do the same exact thing as you - get a black 2007 S2000. Should happen at the end of this month or next. Congrats!

And for care tips on your S2K, there's a great forum here - Wash & Wax. I'm sure they can give you all the help you need to get rid of those swirls. Even though black is the most difficult color to keep clean - it looks the best. I've had 2 previous Acuras that were black and the color is well worth the work.

If you don't mind PM'ing me or posting here - what did you get the S2000 for after delivery ($595) and before taxes, title, and license? Somewhere around $31,500 to $32,000? And were they willing to deal at this time of the year, being December and end of year? I'm just hoping to get some info since you're in SoCal and I'm in NorCal and the prices, though probably a small bit higher down there, are a much better comparison than comparing to the rest of the country...

Thanks and I hope to be joining you shortly.

Welcome to the site. Black looks sharp when kept clean, that's for sure!
Most all your questions can be answered in the wash and wax forum. One of the members, MikeyC, has spent a lot of time and effort to compile detailing information geared toward the S2000.

Way to go mate! I've just picked up my 2007 S2000 but in the faster color of Silverstone...haha. I'm jealous that you have cruise contol whereas our cars don't get the feature in the UAE!

Welcome to the club!

Jetpilot.

Note: Picture attached of my steering wheel...see no cruise control

Hey I noticed your car doesn't have headlight washers as standard equipment and it makes me wonder what else is different between our rides?

Trade you my headlight washers for cruise control....kidding.

Enjoy the S2000!
