After months (or years?) of obsessively reading everything I can about this awesome car, I finally got one of my own. 2002 Sebring Silver with 65k original miles. Bone stock.

This car is awesome! From everything I read, I was sure I'd want an AP2, but it turns out I like the AP1 better. Clutch feels lighter, the twitchier feeling from the smaller wheels feels more engaging, and I love that 9k redline.

I thought the AP1 clutch was supposed to be a little heavier no?

 

That's what I thought from reading the forums. But I drove 3 AP2s and 6 AP1s, and to me the clutch engagement was easier on the AP1.

Gotta get some pics up there -- for some reason I can't get it to work.

Old and new. The TSX has a 6-speed (and the exact same shift knob), but somehow it's not quite the same...
