Hey everyone! So I've always wanted an s2000, but couldn't really afford one (I'm only 19 and I get very minimal assistance from my parents). Up until now I've owned 3 240sx's. My last one was sr20det swapped and was very nice. After only owning 240's for the past 4 years I recently started to get bored with them. I put my s14 up for sale and a few weeks later I got an s2000 trade offer. I thought about it and eventually pulled the trigger. I live in Louisville, Ky and the previous owner lives in Louisiana. We agreed to meet halfway in Memphis, Tn. The deal went through as smooth as possible and the car is even cleaner than I expected. It does have pretty high mileage (137,000) but the head only has 40,000 miles. I looked it over well and couldn't find anything wrong with it at all. It runs and sounds as well as any low mileage S. It doesn't even consume any oil or anything. It was a well maintained car. I've had it for around 2 weeks now and I can easily say its much more fun than my 240s were. I don't think I will ever sell it and I plan on driving it until the wheels fall off. Here's some pics of it.



The carbon fiber hood will soon be replaced with an oem one..

Looks great to me. How much was your s14 worth?

 

The previous owner had about 20k tied up in it. I probably added about 3k more to that. It was a fast and solid car for the most part. It was capable of around 350whp with the setup I had on it. It needed a tune though. I paid 7k for it and was trying to sell it for about 8k. The S books for around 8500-9500 so I think I came out on top of the deal

Ha, I saw your 240SX for sale a month or so ago on Craigslist I believe. It was one of the cleaner samples for sale. I live in Jacksonville, FL now, but was born and raised in Louisville and am a UL grad. I assume you're a UL fan too judging from your username?

Keep the CF hood, just get a lip, diffuser, some stance, rims and it'll blend perfect. My buddy has a SSM and it looks great with the CF hood ...I'm loving the S badges you got on your bumper/trunk and center caps! Those cost a pretty penny.
