finally own an S2000
After many years of wanting one, the right time finally came to buy one. I'm a proud new owner of an 08 GPW from Maui, Hawaii. This will mainly be a weekend car for me.
Snagged this one from a retired couple for $25K: original owner, all original/stock, 10xxxK miles, OEM Aero.
Pics of the car being shipped to me (its from another Island). Previous owner carefully wrapped it to prevent any saltwater/air exposure during its short ocean journey.

When it arrived in Maui, I was pretty disappointed to find the car unwrapped. The dock workers claimed that the wind blew the wrap and cover off. Sounds BS to me, but after walking around the car and inspecting everything carefully, I found no damage so I let it go.

My son was just as happy as I was on that day:

Drove it home and gave it a nice bath right away to wash off any salt that may have sat on the exterior surfaces. Previous owner cared for this car so much that they had optional OEM door edge moldings and fender moldings installed for added protection. I wasn't really felling those moldings so I hade to take them off.
Car looks way cleaner without them. Car also has a sticker pinstriping, but I'll leave them on for now. They're actually not that bad.

Checked out a local meet/cruise yesterday and took a photo with some of the S2K's that were there.

Took more pics after the meet with a friends 04 GPW.
