Default Finally a S2000 owner!

Hey all. I've been lurking on the site since summer 2016 and this is my first post with a car. Last fall I found my S2000. A Silverstone 2004 with red/black interior and factory hardtop from new. It has just over 45,000 miles and no mods from stock.

When I bought it it came with stock AP2 V1 wheels and no spoilers. Over this last winter I detailed/cleaned the suspension and brakes, replaced all fluids, installed both front and rear factory spoilers and added a staggered set of TSW Nurburgring matte gunmetal wheels. I fitted 2017 Honda Ridgeline center caps with some modification for a "factory" look.

Thanks to everyone for all the great insights along the way. The knowledge has been so valuable and helped me find the right car and do the work myself. Looking forward to meeting other S2000 owners as the spring/summer season starts.

Wow, what a beauty! Congrats... and welcome!

BTW, if those are OEM lugnuts, you might consider putting on aftermarket ones.

The wheels look great! Thank you for not putting black or purple or yellow wheels on the car or painting the brake calibers red!

Thanks for the tip. There are aftermarket cone style seats to match the cone style wheels.

Thanks. Congrats too. Yes it is stock ride height with stock struts. Though went up one size width on tires with slight wider wheels. So 225 front and 255 rear. With stock ride height there is no interference or rubbing.

Dude congrats on finding a great condition S2000. So clean and well taken care of. I just picked up an ap1 myself last week and looking to give her good detail and cleaning as well. What did you use to clean the brakes and suspension?
