First car, First S2K
Hello everyone!
I finally bought my dream car 2 days ago. '01 AP1 Berlina Black <3
It's been 7 years and I always thought that I might be able to get one one day...
To be honest, I just learned to drive manual 10 days ago and started actually looking for a S2K, found one 5 days ago and now I am a proud S2K owner!
I am in my 20s and actually this is my very first car. I always lived in cities and never really needed a car..
I have been creeping on s2ki.com for a little bit and there were times I thought about getting a miata for my first car instead but even after I test drove a brand new nd miata
which is really nice, I just couldn't betray my dream... so even though I barely knew how to drive manual.. I just went ahead and bought it and I am very happy that I did.
It's been only 2 days and I have fallen in love. Actually I really wanted a '06 Suzuka Blue but I am not even thinking about it anymore..
I am still skittish whenever my boy tries to show me what he got haha!
Nice meeting you everyone and now I can proudly be a part of s2ki.com! I would really like to meet fellow female owners out there as well

Welcome and congrats on getting your 1st car, I'm sure you're going to enjoy it. Be sure to pick up detailing supplies to keep that black clean

Congratulations, and be careful!!! AP1's can be a bit twitchy (part of what makes them fun). Even many experienced drivers get themselves in trouble.
I'd highly suggest you check your area for some autocross events in your area. I think that's the best way to learn your car's limits (safe, risk free environment). Plus, they're a blast!

I am planning on doing autocross soon and I can't wait... Once I do it I will be sure to write about it
