Default First post is from Afghanistan =p

Allow myself to introduce.... Myself...(Austin Powers qoute lol)

Hey everyone, I am from Canada and currently posted to Panjawai Province in Afghanistan for the next 6 months. We have internet in some of the places so I figured I might as well make an account to pass the time. I have been here for 2 months now and I can't wait to get home to my AP1 that I bought 4 days prior to me leaving. I have owned almost every Honda in my 24 years of life but an S2K was always out of reach for me.

It's completely stock and sitting in a heated storage facility until my return. I'm not sure what my plans are for it but I love modifying cars so this will be another great platform to start with.

My last car was a 99 Civic SiR with a USDM B18c5 engine from a '00 Integra Type R. I put about 15 grand into this car on the engine swap, Recaro seats, CF hood,
wheels, suspension, etc etc. I'm sure everyone knows, it
adds up fast. I loved the car but at the end of the day it was still just a Civic.

Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself on here. I am taking my AP1 down to the states when I
get home for a nice road trip so hopefully I can meet some of you guys. This is hard to do using
just my itouch for internet hah
Thanks for reading! Ciao
Brandon

PS. Don't ask about the different size font. I'm not on a real computer lol ><

Welcome and a heartfelt thanks for your service (all of you guys in the armed forces). You guys are our heros! Because of your sacrifice for our country, I am able to sit in my home on this computer without any fear. I just purchased an S2K and told my wife I would take her out for a drive this evening, something you guys can't do at this time and I am glad that I read these posts this evening as I will be thinking about you guys. Sorry if I sound all gushy but that's just how it is. My nephew recently returned from Iraq entertaining the troops with an MMA tour (you have probably seen him choked out by a woman wrestler on youtube). He shared what he experienced being in a war zone (what he felt that he could share) and meeting your brothers in arms and he will never forget that experience. Keep up the good fight and accept my family's wishes for your safety and a quick return home to drive the hell out of your S2K's.

NOTE to the Administrator: sorry I got off track on this posting but it is just something I felt needed to be said.
