FIRST S2K, BB ap1, dreams coming true..
Bought a beautiful Berlina Black on Black 2000 S2000 from a member here in Jersey. I have been wanting this car for years now and was finally in the market this summer (since about 7th grade when F&F came out...SORRY). That was the first time i saw a s2k in the movie, researched it, loved all about it, deamed it my dream car. I had about 3-4 deals close to closing before this one came and each were sold (most of them sold the a day or two before i was set to visit the car).
Car came with some 18in Stern Beast ST-1 wheels on the car. Also came with the 4 OEM rims in pretty nice condition as well. I plan on seelign the Sterns and using the OEM rims. Tinted sidemarkers, gutted air box and a chopped resonator (excellent sound). The Sterns have some corrosion on the LIP so i do not plan on getting alot for them (about 900-1k$ new with tires for the set) so we shall see.
GETTIGN PICS OF THE CAR SOON!!
I will be driving the car at leat 3 days a week, as much as i can, when snow comes i have a 03 AWD Pontiac drive (4 spd) witch has served me VERY well. The switch from the vibe to the S is night and day to say the least.
it has about 81k and change, paint is in good condition with typical DD wear. Worse part is a spider web crack on the rear bumper, right below to drivers side tailight.
Seats are in decent condition, typical wear for a 9 yr old 81k car, there is a rip in the seem right below your booty, prob gonna stitch it up see what i can do.
Tops new (about a yearish according to the owner) no rips, isnt faded ect. (glass window aswell =) )
Just finished the first oil change with mobil 1 10w-30 fully synthetic today, been driving it a bit, cant do too much since there has been a complication with the title (long story, cleared up within a week) but its been nothing but enjoyable. I expected the ride to be alot harsher then it is, ive gotten rides in s2ks before and i am satisfied with it.
I cant wait to learn the car more, ive been decent at shifting and such, 1-2 is a harsh shift, cant seem to not buck on it, but for a day ro 2 of driving the car with some waht manual car expirence im doing damn good.
Youll be seeing me on the forums, if anyone has any tips or opinions for maintence or jsut ownership in general ill gladly listen =)
PEACE

Quick wash sess with my boy, owns a 02 Mustang GT (fullexhaust, gears, intake, UD pulley, smoked headies, tinted tailights) and decided to take some pictures. As i said before the car has soem wear and tear much of it is obvious. Lip was shredded up when i got it, front end has alot of DD wear, all planned to be repaired later =) you can clearyly see the corrosion on the rims, fronts have a bit of curb on em, all curbing and such is when i bought the car, im also posting a mildly decent pic so ppl can give there opions on the offset of the rears, clearly agressive, im shooting the +40 range (im horrible with offsets). I beleive it is a Robbins Top as well. It was registered the first week of september and i got 84k on the clock now =) not bad for my not so daily driver, i find i try and make an excuse to drive the S rather then my DD.
Car got a tune up form Billman, owner claimed new plugs few thousand miles old, said they were stock honda, well they were some platnum bosh plugs that billman barely tugged to get em out, im sure we could of tweezed em out, i was lucky nothing dropped into the motor, not to mention i jsut found a spring spacer in the drivers side rear shock, i did not expect that... axel nut tsb was done, new clutch fluid, valve adjustment (much quieter at idle and stronger in the revs) retainers are good to go and new rear brake pads.
ENJOY.
Stern ST1 Beast 18s, 245s back, 225s front.

Here you clearly see the Lip rubbage and some of the gravel ownage of the car

Heres the shot of the offset, not the best angle but you can see it pokes out of the bumper, and of course the corrosion ont he aluminum lip, guessing the previous owner didnt clean the rims and let brake dust sit on em, weird since the frotns are pretty mint.

Front rim looking good, front end looking hurt, anyone got quotes on repsraying the bumper?

Head to head shot

And of course a horrible shot of me and my boy
