Default First time s2k owner DFW, TX

Long time Honda nut, first time S2K owner, GPW with tan interior 04. Previous to this I've had a 6th gen Accord, 8th gen Civic FG2, and supercharged 8th gen Civic FA5. Joining to soak up all the data on how to keep her running like a top. Plan to stay OEM+ and happy that forums still exist!

Welcome to the forums and congrats on getting a S2K. I also have a 2004 GPW with tan interior.

Hey Neighbor! I'm actually out in Hurst. Currently completely stock including the radio. I found a rearview mirror on Amazon that integrates carplay and front/backup cams and that will be the first mod.

Welcome to the forum, it’s a treasure trove of information. @dwb993 already beat in mentioning a great thread to start your reading. Lots of owners here tend to be pretty hands-on when it comes to these cars, making the “S2000 Under the Hood” subforum in particular quite a valuable resource, especially as these cars continue to age. @Billman250 is one of the moderators for that subforum and is an incredible resource for the community.

There are also a couple of really helpful YouTube channels I recommend: “DIYGuys” (which is the channel of forum member @Soviet ), and “LHT Performance”. Both channels feature a wealth of videos covering routine maintenance and beyond.

It should be after two weeks per the faq.
