Default First time test driver... to probable owner

Hello folks.

I decided to sign up because i have a feeling that in the next few days i will be an s2k owner. I never drove an s2k before, so i decided to go test drive one available at Meriden Hyundai here in CT... with absolute NO intentions of buying, here is the actual listing of the Suzuka Blue AP2

I took it for a spin, and hit the redline right out of the lot, the sales guy was not to happy about that. I proceeded to beat the crap out of the car, i came out of that satisfied, and the sales guy seemed frustrated a little lol. Loved everything about it Minus that loud after market exhaust, couple of scratches on the front bumper, and a missing right fin from the rear spoiler (its not missing in the actual listing photos), but the deal they offered me I don't think i can resist, and the CARFAX was immaculate with 2 previous owners.

They were asking $17k for it, i ended up with $16k out the door and thats INCLUDING $2000 from me being upside down on the trade in of my 09 Civic EX. I owe $13,500, they offered 11,500 trade in, and i got the price down of the s2k to 14k. So total 16k out the door, and i got them to repaint the front bumper for me and fix the rear spoiler.

Now i'm just waiting until monday to call my credit union since my current car is financed through them, I have the s2k on a $300 deposit as of right now

Honestly, based off what i saw on the auto trader photos, i didn't really care for the color... i was indifferent about it, i would prefer red. But when i actually went there and saw the car in person, the color seemed better in person and immediately grew on me. loved it.

I think the air box was modded too because its all carbon fiber, and i assume s2k's don't come with that out of the factory.

its a 2004 with 76,1xx Miles.

Waiting for 9am for my credit union to open already. Cannot wait lOL

Edit:

Should i purchase some sort of warranty for it? i would hate to spend 15k on a car only for the tranny to blow or something less than a month later or even when driving off the lot.

Welcome! Personally I would not. If the tranny blows, it's your fault since its fine right now.
