Fool's runnin' a Honda two thousand
Hey doods. Just joined the club Wednesday with my silver 04. Let me just say this is THE most fun I've had on 4 wheels.
She has 40k miles, Nvidia, and a cone filter, windows tinted. I plan to get a good alarm system and that's probably it for awhile. It's pretty perfect as it sits.

Here's what I'm coming from. Also a blast but different than the S.

Good to be here, seems like a cool forum with good info.
Plan to take some shots with the big camera this weekend. It rained here pretty much since I drove it off the lot

Most obviously, big power difference, but I think the S well makes up for it in other areas.
My evo was the MR, so it had the paddle shifters. Which was cool for awhile but I missed the ol' one-two step heeltoe action. Call me outdated if you want but I missed rowing the gears myself.
The S has more go-cart style handling, feels a bit more crisp and rigid compared to the Evo. Better feeling the road. But again, I had the MR which was a little cushier than the GSR.
AWD was a blast in the winter and amazing through the turns. You just couldn't break it loose. BUT, RWD is just so much more fun.
I miss the sound of the Evo's turbo spool already, but the VTEC sound and pull is nearly as satisfying.
Lower insurance, lower payment, more used parts available.
And oh ya, I found the secret compartment and the fuel door release (even though I was trying to push it). And if the previous owner(s) see this, I have some sunglasses you left in the compartment. Apparently they had forgotten where it was.
