One thing i did notice from the photo as I had the same thing on my GPW, it looks like the bumper cover is not seated correctly in the bracket under the headlight on the passenger side toward the front part of the headlight. Could just be an illusion though? Simple fix it that is the case.

I still see some shadowing but hard to tell. It also appears that it sits proud of the fender near the hood. The cover should slide under the headlight, if it is touching the lens it will need some adjustment. You will be a better judge in person. Tweaking little things on these cars is fun and you learn much about the car.

Very clean car, nice purchase. 2003 is the best year in my opinion.
