Default Getting the 07 Silver S2k tomorrow!

I Sold my 2001 Acura CL-S, I developped the kit and wheels specifically for this car thru my company, Now it became a little dated and I was always thirsty for RWD. I was looking at the NSX for like 3 months, but every car was eityher way to expensive or messed up somehow. So I fell in love with the S2000 in the dealer while driving by and stopping in. Silverstone 2007 with red and black interior. Gonna go in tomorrow with my down payment and start negotiating. I didn't get too deep with pricing when i stopped in the firtst time since I wasn't sure, but now I am and I am already at a starting point of $29k from MSRP of $34k, so I am going to try to talk the sales person down to $27-28k, which i can't believe! I guess they are desperate to move them before the North East winter kicks in hard. ANyways, I can't wait to bring a set of staggered wheels and a lip kit to the market with my personal vehicle, quite possibly a hartop in the shap of a semi fast back. Gonna be sweet, I'm haven't been this excited since I got my first car in 2001!Here are some pics of my ride and a link to my site.
PS, I am a Honda / Acura fanatic, i have a 2004 Honda Pilot EX with Navi, had a 2001 Acura CL-S with Navi, my sister has the 2005 Acura TL w/ Navi, and now the S2K. I also based my whole company on Honda and Acura Exclusive products.

If anybody has a TL, TSX, Cl or other and is familiar with acurazine.com, then you would know who I am, lol.

Last question, are they going to redeisgn the S2K in 2008? and what benefits/disadvantages does the 07 have over previous models, search results linked here would be fine, thanks.

Copied from the "Introduce Yourself" forum.

Ron Jon, nice wheels but when you decide ( and I believe you will) to start making wheels for the S2000 break tradition and stay away from the designs you have for the other Honda / Acura products.

Stay performance oriented with just a little bling not vice versa.

Didn't realize you were North East, I certainly thought Florida.

Maybe that didn't come out right.

When looking for wheels for my Accord last year I considered your wheels but the looks screamed "BLING" at least to me anyways and I was looking for something that at least looked more performance oriented.

for doing what HFP should be doing more of.

thanks, and yeah, I do understand that the S2K is more of a raw driving vehicle rather than a semi Luxury sedan like the TL. So we have a few wheel ideas for the S2K right now, 18" staggered, hubcentric and perfectly offset to exclusively fit the S, and they will be a mesh design with BBK, no lip to give a larger than reality diameter. Don't want to go to crazy with it now, want to work it out with admin and set up shop that way.

I understand.

As far as the 18s go.................bigger isn't always better. Almost all of the track guys run 17s, I know that isn't your "target market" but.............and w/ 17s people can normally swap on their OEM tires to their new 17s.

Good to have you here and good luck.

You from the North East? I assumed Florida for the obvious reason.

As a TL owner I've watch you guys grow and develop some nice products.
It'll be great to have you as one of us and what you might come up with for the S.
If you think the Acurazine community is tight you ain't seen nothing yet.

Actually i believe that Charles was one of the first, if not the first, to have RonJon's TL kit, some kind of prototype thing we did for them or something. I have to say for those of you that aren't familiar with RonJon. If you're into body kits and that sort of thing, then take from me, someone who has installed countless kits on a million different cars, RonJon produces by far, bar none, absolutely the best fitting, most solid, highest quality stuff i have ever come across in my life. I have installed more than a few of the TL kits and i know first hand how well they are built. Closest to OEM fitment, and if it's possible much sturdier than OEM. So if you're the type that is into that, then you should look forward to the day that RJ releases something for your S.

Anyway sorry for rambling. Welcome to S2ki RJ.
