Default Glad to be a part of the community!

Hello everyone,

I've just recently traded in my '03 wrx and picked up an '06 berlina black s2k, and I'm loving it.

Although, it is not as quick as my modded wrx, I still think it's a much better car all around. I love how well the car handles, it feels like it is on rails and puts my retired wrx to shame.

First impressions, it's beautiful, handles like a champ, and very responsive... no more turbo lag!

Anyway, just wanted to say it's great to finally be a part of the s2k community.

Welcome, Johnny. I'm glad you're enjoying the S.

BTW, black is a handful to take care of. Spend some time over in teh wash/wax forum and learn all about exterior care (if you're not already familiar with it).

Best wishes, and enjoy!

black definately is a hard color to take care of... i've had them in the past.

unfortunately the only black S i was able to find was in the city and it was already scratched up a little here and there from all of the street and city parking... i don't mind though, they'll never look as good as when you first get them!

Your '06 is used? I am surprised you would even be able to find a used 06 yet....
