Default Gone and done it...

So the Wicked White Wonder is now MINE...2004, 16K on the clock..It's a great car my wife says but we can't get it in the garage frontwards as the lip drags when backing out...

HER solution, just back in...she's a smart gal!

Happy wife, happy life. (I could see the smile when it was HER turn to drive)

I'll need to go spend some time on the site now exploring what's what - the car did not come with a manual so even simple things need to be discovered.

I'm coming over from my beloved 1995 Miata - great little car and the folks at Miata.net were/are a great resource.

Q - what's the little blue LED just forward of the steering wheel?

Wes

I have no such LED.
EDIT: If it is an alarm, it could be the Honda accessory dealer installed one -or- an aftermarket... Were you able to confirm what it is?
Welcome to the site and congratulations on the purchase.

It might be in the secret compartment or in the trunk in the well (under the tools)

Yup, there's a little blue led just forward of the steering wheel...also I see a silver toggle switch under the dash at the driver's right knee - no wires have been run to this so I assume it was a PO attempt at something (sometimes not a good thing...)

Did these cars have factory alarms?

Did any have keyless entry?

I assume the factory radio DOES NOT have an iPod interface...

Still learning things

Oh, maybe someone has pdf'ed the manual...I'm also looking for a way to dim/bright the panel lights??

-These cars did have a factory alarm I believe. I don't have one. though.

-Yes they do have keyless entry.

-The radio does not have an ipod interface BUT you can use your ipod if you buy an adapter such as this..HON03/PC-SON or something similar.

- The buttons on the left of the actual cluster control the dim/brightness of lights. I believe they are labeled with a ''+'' and ''-"" sign. Although you do have an AP2 so I don't know if it's different.

Onwer Link looks like it has the manual online and in PDF format. I haven't used it since I have a hard copy.
