Good looking Evo VW4life def loving the no wing . Did you notice a change inte downforce in the car when you launched it cause if I'm not mistaken it was fuctional.

Welcome to the board stimpack there are some great people on here that help me out when I got my S last Oct. I know your loving the S but give it some time and your going to missing the torque of the Evo. I'm already thinking about doing the inline pro turbo kit but I have to wait at least 2 years bought the 4 year extended warranty and don't want to let it go to waste lol. Later.

I also converted myself . Every now and then i miss the torque and practicality, but the overall driving experience that you get with the S2K cannot be matched, IMO. I'm not sure which is faster around the track (pretty sure the evo is with equal drivers), but the s2k is definitely a more fun car to drive.

a lot of people who own evo's dont miss them, i've heard it a lot, weird. you'd figure people want a fast practical car.

congrats on the new S

Thanks i2ichal2d for the info on the engine.... yeah definetely not a "smooth" start-up or shut down... I figure if the engine is able to do 9k, then it needs to be berserked from the start!

Dang it j03chu, I wanted to do that .....almost kept the evo but wife just said "no"....

It tough getting rid of the EVO, but I'm glad there's black beast waiting for me when I open the garage
