Default Good Morning from England

Hi

My name is Jamie, and recently I bought a 2003 Honda s2000 GT. Its a bit of an upgrade from my last car (golf 1.6), and with the weather as it is at the moment I am thoroughly enjoying it.

I was very much into the stance scene with the golf, but wanted to get out as people were spending way to much money, and the cars were becoming stupidly impractical. I was going to buy a high mileage diesel of some sort for the commute and then luckily got a job which involves me walking about 100m and a 5 minute bus journey. So the practicality went out the window and decided to go with a childhood dream and buy an s2k.

I enjoy working on cars, collecting tarantulas, painting miniatures (I know, not the coolest thing, but I look at a computer screen 8 hours a day and need something that involves no computers what so ever =p); and I develop apps and work as a c#/html programmer.

Cheers for reading,

jamiepm

Congrats on the S and welcome to the s2ki community. You wont regret the purchase. First mod should be a hardtop. And if you can please ship me a hardtop over here to the US that'd be great. Im so jealous you can get them for sooo cheap on that side of the pond.

Cheers
Summer the car will be standard (except a few body changes like wheel refurb and a smaller spoiler) , winter I will do a few things

Have been looking, it's a definite winter buy. At the moment the UK is quite nice so keeping it ragtop
Ha ha, they're not that cheap over here it seems either, so they must be stupid money over there
