I've been here for over a year but this is my first post as an owner. I got my 02 GPW earlier today and couldn't be happier. I always wanted an 02 GPW (love the red interior) but had pretty much given up on finding one since they seem to be almost impossible to come by. I had started looking for an 02-03 NFR when I just happened to find an 02 GPW with under 28,000 miles only about 10 miles from my house. Test drove it and worked out the details and now I'm a proud s2000 owner. My first mod will be seat locks.

where can we buy seat locks? i searched and found old group buys but nothing new... help a nooby out please

 

Congrats, I was in the exact same boat, searched for a MY02 GPW for over a year with no luck then expanded to NFR. Finally found a nice NFR, did an interior swap to tan and I'm happy. But I still keep an eye out for GPW/all red. Its the best combo.
