is gpw really that rare?
From what data I've seen, about 10% of S2000s sold in your year ranges were GPW, meaning about 600 were imported to NA each year. That's just over 100 per state, on average, and they ar pretty sought after as white is becoming a morepopular color.
So, finding the perfect GPW will take time - it took me 4 months in 2004 to find a new one - but if its the color you want, its worth it.
Oddly enough, there are no less than six GPW/tans (03-05) that I encounter in my area these days, so they don't seem so rare, but when I got mine, I was the only one around.

I think GPW with red/black is rare ... but GPW itself isn't that bad. I think it's just that Silverstone is the most popular colour. For the sake of it, even Sebring wasn't that popular! So that's why you feel there aren't so many GPWs.
I really miss my red/black interior
