Hey all S2KI users

Name is Grant , a current VW driver from South Africa.

Joined the forum as I am potentially looking at replacing my R32 with a 2009 AP2 F20C S2000 in GPW. I signed up to ask some questions that have me puzzled , I am ultimate Honda noob.

Viewing was good , being a 2009 it is in great condition. It is very much less refined than the Mk5 of mine , but it drove really nicely and was lots of fun.

The roof cover was brand new in plastic and never used.

Even with my car slammed , the S2K has a firm ride , it's clear it has one intention as a vehicle. The seating position is strange to get used to but definitely not uncomfortable.

All in all , I am going to miss the hell out of my mk5 but I look forward to a new adventure with a great motor vehicle.

is the rear window glass or plastic? I'm sure an 2009 should have a glass window at the back unless it's been replaced =/

 

 

Nice! where in SA are you from? I am from Cape Town and also recently acquired and S2000. The S2000 in the pic you posted has GP plates so I am guessing you are from Joburg?
