Ok I purchased a S2000 on line a 2004 silverstone with black and red interior. The reason I bought it was the price and the looks of the car as a true roadster/sportscar. I would like to say the s2000 is an investment they hold their value well to say the least. Ok I tried to open a new account but there was a computer glitch so I am using my sons old log in since he sold his and I bought mine so that is my intro.. Now like I was saying I bought this S2000 cause of the deal for under 9000.00 why 154000 miles one owner no wrecks or anything else negative. I bought it online and I am still awaiting delivery. So I have been reading this fourm and other info as well. I am an ol guy NOT use to these tuners you might say.. So this car will be my learn as you go sorta kinda I guess. Hear goes these are my plans so far but they are not concrete as of yet. I will rip out the engine and either replace it or build it.. I can purchase an engine with low miles for alot cheeper then building my original engine. However. the original engine with matching numbers is important. So I will most likely build it. The other issue it seems as if there is a very strong dividing line people either utilize force induction or build the engine. I will build mine, do to the fact of high milage so no choice really. I will add forced induction as well later on down the road. So if I am going to build the engine I got my eye on the kings power package a stroker kit with pistons, rings,rods, and bearings I will choose the original compression so I can still use pump gas 11:1 I will also need stage 2 cams, fuel pump, injectors, and yes of course the tunable computer. So what am I trying to accomplish I want a fun bang the gears shit and get sports car for fun. I want the versatility to hop on the expressway and go traveling and after getting there have the ability to raise a little hell on the streets for fun is this to much to ask for? If so I can always go back stock and have fun just banging gears however, there is that feeling you get when you know you have something extra under the hood just waiting for that certain bonehead to show their ass and you end up handing thier ass to them.. You just gotta love it.. Well I am open for any and all advice on this project I am never to old to learn and learn is what I will be doing.
