Default Greetings from Montana.

Hello -

My name is Dave and I live in Bozeman, MT. I'm a long time car guy and autocrosser and a big fan of the S2000. I came close to buying one years ago but found that I'm a bit too tall to fit in the car with a helmet on so ended up buying a Lotus Elise instead.

Well after competing in the Elise for 4 years I've sold the Elise and just put a deposit on a Westfield Mega S2000 kit and look forward to building it this coming spring. The Westfield Mega S2000 uses the engine and transmission from an early Honda S2000 (AP1) and I'll be purchasing one very soon with any luck. I've joined here on the advice of a autocross friend who drives his Honda S2000 very quickly and I hope to learn a bit about the wonderful engines in these cars and if folks are interested I'll share the build of the Westfield.

Thanks in in advance for your input.

Dave

Thanks for the warm welcome. I think it's going to be a fun project and the idea of having that high revving power in a car that weighs 1400 pounds with me in it is going to be a lot of fun.

Here's a road test of the car i'm getting - mine will have a slightly different rear section of bodywork that is more traditionally 'Seven' shaped but otherwise this is pretty much it. It will be shaped more like the orange one pictured below..........and of course it will be orange...........it's gotta be orange!

Thank again,

Cool - I'm a snowboarder of 30+ years and I spend way too many days at Bridger every season.

I'll check out your link - thanks.
