Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums. I heard of the site through my Dad who surfs these forums quite a bit, but he doesn't post much. Anyway, he drive an '01 s2k and I'm pretty interested in cars. I got my driver's license 2 months ago and I'm currently looking for a first car. According to my parents it is their preference that I have some sort of Asian car, as I could get my car worked on at the same shop they take their two cars (s2k and a Pilot) to here in San Diego. I've been checking out cars recently, and when I find one I like I try to watch every video and read every review and forum there is about them in my spare time. I've been looking into the Honda Civic Ep3 (type R, the older hatchback version) and I can't find anything I don't like about them. Only problem is, I can't seem to find any for sale in my area. Can anyone help me with this? I live in San Diego, if you have the time to run some searches yourself. But if not what are some good car-finder sites I can check other than Autotrader?

if you are looking for an ep3 SI ... they shouldnt be hard to find .. as for a type-r ... you are not going to find one .. the ep3 type-R was never sold in the states
