Hello. Another new S2K owner
Hello everyone,
Just wanted to say hi...
Picked up an new '05 Silverstone w/black and red interior several weeks ago. I had wanted an S ever since I test drove one back in 2000. I couldn't justify having a two seat convertible as my only car. Well now things are a little different and the S is actually my third car.
It's been a blast so far. As expected, it handles better than my 300z (which has had suspension work done). The gearbox is fantastic. Cockpit fits like a glove. Haven't hit VTEC yet since I'm still breaking it in.
Only mods so far are Rick's clear sidemarkers and a Voodoo shift knob.
I do miss the all out acceleration and boost from the Z, but the S is just as fun in a different way, and much more reliable (knock on wood). Can't wait til the warm weather, when I can drive both.
Anyways, this forum has been a tremendous source of information...thanks!

Whoa, great story. Good news bad news kind of thing. You answered your doorbell and the car of your dreams was there, bad news there was a salesman there as well! Hope to see you at some drives.
