hello everyone
hello everyone. i'm xavier, and i've been a long time honda-head. started off with a BB2, then bought a DC2, and just recently sold my turbo DC4.
i took delivery of my S2000 today. it's a sebring silver 2003 AP1. snagged her at a pretty good price too. . . already used half a tank of gas driving around- this thing is so much fun.
heres a crappy picture of the S. . .

overall, i'm happy with my purchase. for a '03 S2000, it's in alright condition. minor dings and some swirl marks- nothing a little tlc cant fix. engine runs well with a strong idle. i am kind of dissapointed with the aftermarket audio unit that doesnt work. dealership is going to comp me for a new one.
and these rear tires suck. . .

overall, im very impressed with the overall stability of the car. it is really well balanced. lacks power, and is pretty sluggish- but thats probably because im
used to driving this thing:

. . .goodbye torque steer! i'll miss spinning tires through third gear though. . .
hope to meet some cool people on this site. laaaater.

Welcome, irock! Your Sebring looks very clean!
As an AP1 owner now, be aware that you should check your oil level at every fill up. These cars consume oil (normal).
If you're a power-monger, you'll find 100s of ways to power-up your S. Take your time. Don't upset the balance of your car.

thanks for the warm welcome! i've had this car for 3 days now and it's been a blast. some of the most fun driving i've done in a while.
i have lots of ideas on where i want to go with the S2000. im looking at some coilovers now, and will probably get a set sometime next month.
i havent decided whether or not to keep it N/A and tune it, or build the engine and turbo it. ive read some threads on honda-tech that have shown good power results on either ends.
my old setup was fast as hell, but it wasnt balanced at all. i dont want to modify the S2000 to the point where it loses all its balance.
none-the-less, the car wont stay stock for long.
