Hello everybody!

Recently picked up a '00 GPW S2000 black/red on impulse and so far its proving to be a great decision! My last impulse buy was my old DD, a 88' Mazda Rx7 TII, but thats another story for another time. I'm very eager to meet more owners in my area and learn more about this awesome machine!

I've never driven a vehicle before that gives me this great feeling of ..... of .... um... I can't describe it ... but I always get this goofy @ss grin on my face like back in the days when I used to get stoned whenever I'm driving it! (I've quit now, kids, don't do drugs!)

I'm sooo addicted to this "high", I'm racking up mileage like crazy. The most trivial things gets me super excited. Like last Saturday when I was rolling up Kennedy Rd., I saw another red S2000 on the road, top down, with a dog in the passenger seat. I waved, he waved back, and that was just pure blitz for me! I had such a big grin all the way home my face started to hurt!!

Please point me in the right direction to meet more owners and to have more fun in this community. Back to work now.

Literally laughing out loud here at work at the coincedence. I had a hunch you would be on the forum, but didn't expect you to catch my post and reply. It's great to hear from you.

Thats a very well-behaved dog you have sitting so still. I was always afraid mine would lean at the door and scratch the paint or worse yet, jump. Haha.

It was a complete accident that I clicked into the intros forum. Then I saw "Scarborough" and thought 'why not.'

My Dog love's it when the top's down, but hates it on the highway. all you need is trust.

As for meets, there's suppose to be a cruise next weekend at the kennedy commons, and then there's always the Speedstar day, and countless track days.
